How does a major city region transform, innovate, and support the healthcare and social care of 2.8 million residents through AI and BI?
There are over 30 organizations working together. Some of them acute hospitals, some of them mental health trusts, [and] some of them local authorities for council services. And it’s all about working together to understand the people in a wider context, as opposed to just a patient in this pathway here.
We look at geospatial data a lot. It’s a really critical point, mostly because in terms of the inequalities piece. You need to understand your population. And you can only understand your population if you understand the geospatial locality and what is going on now.
We started getting involved in the AI and the machine learning in terms of, can we start to understand our data in new ways, through looking at it through new lenses.
